Best Value, Quality Initiatives
The Best Value Review process is encapsulated within a number of quality initiatives and improvement strategies such as the Business Excellence Model (EFQM), Investors in People (IIP), Charter Mark and IS0 9000. A working definition of such initiatives might be that the Business Excellence Model (EFQM) assists in ensuring that the right questions are asked, while the other three schemes assist in finding answers. Such initiatives can be employed to drive Best Value Principles into the core of an organisation.
