Property Services

Property Services provides the Board and schools with a wide range of professional and technical support services responsible for the day to day management and maintenance of all Board properties and for the ongoing development of the Board’s estate to meet the ever changing needs of the Education Service. It carries out its function to promote excellence combined with value for money through the following services:

 

The Design Service responsible for all architectural and related design matters, programme and project management, capital development and assisting with acquisition and disposal of property and general lease and insurance issues.

 

The Maintenance Service responsible for ensuring all Board properties are maintained in a structurally safe and secure manner.

 

The Energy Efficiency Service responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective use of energy within the Board’s properties and to control energy costs within the overall property estate.

 

The Health and Safety Service responsible for advising the Board and schools on all matters relating to Health and Safety at work and security.
