What sort of person is an educational psychologist?
An educational psychologist is a person whose primary aim is to help children with special educational needs. S/he meets many children and parents and is generally able quickly to build-up good relationships with parents and young people based on trust and mutual respect. An educational psychologist has an honours degree in psychology, is a trained teacher with at least two years school experience and has a post-graduate qualification in educational psychology.
