The Extended School targets not only the pupils of statutory school age, but the ‘whole’ family, and wider community which it serves.

In addition, a number of resources are attached to support schools in the development of extended services. These include:
- NEELB Action Plan template – this must be used to submit plans for extended services to the NEELB.
- Budget Deployment Form– this must be used to detail projected expenditure and submitted together with your action plan.
- Financial Monitoring tool – you may find this useful in profiling and accounting for extended schools expenditure.
