Curriculum: The Curriculum Advisory and Support Service (CASS) of the North Eastern Education and Library Board consists of a group of professional staff which works in partnership with schools and other agencies to provide a high quality, cost-effective and responsive support service to schools.
 
School Library Service: The School Library Service is committed to supporting learning in schools through the provision of quality resources, expertise and advice.
 
Special Education: For the purpose of the Education Orders, a child has 'special educational needs' if he or she has a learning difficulty which calls for special education provision to be made.
 
Substitute Teachers: It is in the school’s interest to develop effective management of and support for teachers providing substitute cover.
 
Latest Information for Teachers on the Revised Curriculum (PMB): September 2007 marks the start of the official change over to the revised curriculum.
