Child Development

This specification aims to encourage an understanding of pregnancy, the responsibilities of being a parent and the overall needs of young children.  Emphasis is placed on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

 

Candidates can enter at Foundation or higher level assessment. Assessment is through a combination of me written paper (60% of overall marks) and one internally assessed asignment (40% of overall marks)
