Information and Communication Technology, Policy and Development

A whole school ICT policy sets out the rationale for learning and teaching with ICT and the aims and objectives for ICT use. The policy document itself will be a concise document providing a framework for more detailed guidance. Priorities as set out in the policy will be set into context by the SDP or ICT action plan which will clearly set out the school’s strategy for developing ICT and will be subject to regular review. A template for action planning and a sample action plan are attached.
