In the Induction year you are entitled to 7 days sub cover (Code K) to attend courses and to work in school to further develop your teaching skills. The courses which we provide are mainly subject based and will reflect the Northern Ireland Curriculum requirements. Our aim is to provide practical advice and resources which can then be used in class. The usual break down of days would be as follows - 2 days for the conference, 3/4 days for courses and 1/2 days in school for observation and/or pull your portfolio together.
