Course Title: Teacher Leader Update Conference (Primary)
 
Key Stage:  1 & 2

Course Objectives:  
This annual course is designed to give Teacher Leaders in primary schools the opportunity to review ICT developments in Northern Ireland and within their own schools.  It also provides a forum to exchange ideas and share good practice, through face-2-face sessions and online discussion.  This year’s objectives include:
 
  • Using the Becta Self-review Framework 
  • Providing an update on ICT developments within Northern Ireland.
  • To explore the integration of ICT across the Revised Primary Curriculum.
  • To consider the potential of LNI to support learning and teaching.
 
Course Date(s): 19th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, & 26th February 2009 (Choice of date)

This annual conference is designed toupdate Teacher Leaders in Post Primary and Special Schools on a range of  ICT developments which will impact on learning and teaching.  It also provides a forum to exchange ideas and share good practice.  This year’s objectives include:
 
  • Engaging the Becta Self Review Framework for ICT
  • LearningNI
  • Embedding ICT in the Revised Curriculum
  • The NI ET Startegy  (Empowering Schools update for 2009)
