Course Title: Teacher Leader Update Conference (Primary)

Key Stage: 1 & 2

Course Objectives:

This annual course is designed to give Teacher Leaders in primary schools the opportunity to review ICT developments in Northern Ireland and within their own schools. It also provides a forum to exchange ideas and share good practice, through face-2-face sessions and online discussion. This year’s objectives include:

Using the Becta Self-review Framework
Providing an update on ICT developments within Northern Ireland.
To explore the integration of ICT across the Revised Primary Curriculum.
To consider the potential of LNI to support learning and teaching.

Course Date(s): 19^th, 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th, & 26^th February 2009 (Choice of date)

No. of Teacher Places Available: 30 per day

This annual conference for Teacher Leaders seeks to guide and support the ongoing integration of ICT into the curriculum and take account of current and future developments which may impact on schools and the work of the Teacher Leader

Course Objectives:

This annual conference is designed toupdate Teacher Leaders in Post Primary and Special Schools on a range of ICT developments which will impact on learning and teaching. It also provides a forum to exchange ideas and share good practice. This year’s objectives include:

Engaging the Becta Self Review Framework for ICT
LearningNI
Embedding ICT in the Revised Curriculum
The NI ET Startegy (Empowering Schools update for 2009)
