Over 700 young musicians play in Music Service orchestras and bands every week in Ballymoney, Portglenone, Antrim, and Newtownabbey. Rehearsals are on Saturday mornings or weekday evenings during term time and all ensembles give at least 2 concerts each year.
In order to give our young musicians some exposure to the world outside their own comfort zone and to afford them the opportunity to act as ambassadors for their own musical culture, educational visits have been organised in the past to France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
