How does the Board deal with Child Protection?
The Board complies fully with the Child Protection Order and carries out Criminal Record Checks on all drivers and escorts employed by the Board and Private Operators.

 

What happens if an allegation is made against a Board driver or escort employed by the Board or a Private Operator?
Any allegations made against a Board driver or escort employed by the Board or a Private Operator will be dealt with in accordance with the Child Protection Order.

 

What happens if pupils who have been assessed by designated Board Officers as likely to suffer significant harm?
Pupils who have been assessed by designated Board Officers as likely to suffer significant harm will be considered for transport on an individual basis.
