- Where a re-organisation scheme involving the closure of schools takes place and as part of the scheme 2:00pm transport has been approved.
- For those pupils holding a statement of special educational needs attending Special schools;
- Where existing Board or Public Services are available.
- To ease congestion on any particular Board bus at 3:00pm.
What happens if 2:00pm transport assistance is not available?
Where the Board does not provide a 2:00 pm service, parents of pupils residing under the 2 mile statutory walking distance from school should collect their children from school at 2:00 pm. It is the responsibility of schools to arrange for the supervision of pupils living more than the statutory walking distance form the school until the normal departure time for school transport services.
